Finally a camping chair that gets the ergonomics right!
This chair is amazing. Yes, it is a bit heavy, so obviously only for car camping. But this gets everything right. There are other camping chairs that offer extra lumbar support, but they don't come close to the Strongback chair. The key point is that your hip sits at the lowest point, instead of your butt being pushed forward and making your lower back curve. For that to happen, the chair fabric cannot be connected between the seat bottom and the seat back. If they are connected, the chair fabric curves around your butt and makes you slouch. The Strongback design is absolutely unique in solving this problem in a foldable camping chair.

Good quality but not as comfortable as they were in the past
Strongback as a whole makes high quality products and you can see their attention to detail when you look at their products. Unfortunately, something has changed and I believe it's the size of the chair overall. This chair is larger than my last Strongback set of camping chairs and because of that, it doesn't feel as comfortable as my last set. I would love a replacement for my previous set that lasted for many years. Disappointed and will be returning these plus-size chairs.
