This is my second Strongback Chair. We are full time RVers and often sit outside. I have used regular camp chairs and my back always started hurting before long. (I’ve had chronic back pain for many years.) I had my first chair for 4 or 5 years and it finally became faded, stained, and the fabric at the front of the seat tore. This one is lighter (the old one had a tray table) and is a rocker. I love the back support and that it rocks. Very happy with this purchase.

Perfect for back surgery recovery and more...
Shortly after having back surgery a friend introduced me to Strongback products. I took the plunge and placed an order for one of the Rocking Director Chairs, which came with a built-in cup holder and a few pockets. I used the chair at home, then took it on a family vacation. It was a life saver! I am always most comfortable in my Strongback chair, and it's easy to transport: very lightweight. Now it goes with me everywhere: grandchild hockey and games, church... anywhere we think we can get it inside without breaking rules. I do wish the pockets on the side were a bit larger. The largest will hold a Bible, but not an iPad. The smaller ones will hold a smart-phone, pens, ,etc. Overall, I plan to keep and use the Strongback chair for many years to come.

Best Lumbar Support Ever!
I purchased the STRONGBACK Rocking Director Chair after I experienced a back injury. Walking was very painful, lying down was very uncomfortable, only sitting provided some relief, and only for a time as most chairs became uncomfortable after 20-30 minutes. I needed something for church and family travel. We chose the Strongback after friends who have one recommended them. I chose the rocker because, well, I find it hard to sit still ;-). I am very glad I did. The Strongback gives exceptional lumbar support and the rocker satisfies my urge to just keep moving!
